John Cunningham is a 2015 3B/SS with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Port St. Lucie, FL who attends St. Lucie West Centennial. Medium frame, thin athletic build with room to fill. Hits from an open stance with a low hand set, small leg kick trigger, simple mechanics, rotational swing, long in back, line drive swing plane, aggressive hitting approach. Quick feet defensively, throws from a low arm slot, good range to both sides, athletic defender. Very impressive range in game action, high motor defender whose defense stood out. Good student, named to the National Underclass Session 3 top prospect team.
