Daniel Matrisciano is a 2015 3B/C, OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Howell, NJ who attends Howell. Large, athletic frame with a strong frame and some room to fill out. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, moves well on his feet, accurate throws across with some strength from a longer arm action, smooth transfer. Shortens arm action on throws from the outfield, stays tall at release, working through the ball will help increase strength on throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slightly close stance and shows a patient approach in the box. Very short path to the ball, keeps hands in on swing, upper half oriented, keeps weight back on off speed, shows strength in swing, pull side approach but shows the ability to go to the opposite field, quick bat through the zone.
