Cayavec is a 6-0 left handed hitting outfielder from Florida who also plays some third base. He ran the 60 in 7.31 and threw 83 mph from the outfield and 78 mph from the infield. His outfield arm strength was very good and Cayavec showed nice accuracy as well. His infield actions were solid and he should keep that position open as an option as well. Cayavec has a mature approach at the plate with quick hands and a simple, balanced set up. He showed he could handle pitches on all parts of the plate and did an especially nice job of staying behind balls on the outside half and hitting them hard. Cayavec has a line drive swing plane but has projectable power when he fills out and learns to loft the ball a bit.
