Andrew Connors is a 2016 LHP/OF with a 6-2 147 lb. frame from Newburgh, NY who attends Marlboro Central HS. Very slender young build, minimal present strength. Compact arm circle with a tight 3/4's cross body release, low effort, limited lower half use. Mid to upper 60's fastball, fade and sink at the plate, throws strikes and makes hitters swing the bat. Throws knuckleball for a change up, still developing consistent release and command, did not throw a breaking ball. Good student.
