Griffin Lockwood-Powell is a 2016 C/1B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Sioux Falls, SD who attends Lincoln HS. Slender young athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Good low set up behind the plate, nice arm strength and accuracy for his age, 2.10 best pop time, receives the ball cleanly, lower half will get quicker as he gets stronger and more physically mature. Right handed hitter, straight stance with limited stride or weight shift, rotational swing, mid field line drive contact, patient hitter who works counts, will improve with additional strength and more lower half involvement in his swing.
