Liam Hibbits is a 2016 1B/OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Xavier. Extra-large, athletic build with present strength and room to get even stronger. Ran a 7.79 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, athletic actions coming off the bag, bounce in step with clean actions out front, quick arm from a compact and lower slot, nice strength and carry. Solid defensive tools. Left-handed hitter, starts with a deep hand set but shows a long and fluid swing path with extension at contact and a long finish. Opens front shoulder early at times, shows solid contact skills with separation in swing, generates solid bat speed and projects for power in the future. Good student. Named to Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.
