Hunter Barton is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-2 176 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Vandegrift HS. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and long limbs with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from an extended three-quarter arm slot with a full arm action coming through. Rock step delivery with simple leg raise, full hand path and stays tall on back side, pulls front side early at times. Fastball topped at 82 mph with occasional run to arm side and shows ability to locate to both sides. Showed three off speed pitches, short 11-5 curveball in mid-60s. Feel for a 10-4 slider at 71 mph and a changeup with slight fade to arm side at 68 mph. Right-handed hitter, keeps hands tight to body with contact to all fields. Outstanding student.
