Joseph Hanily is a 2016 MIF/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Lakehurst, NJ who attends Manchester. Medium frame, young look with room to fill out with added strength. Primary middle infielder, takes short quick steps to the ball, gets in a good position to field, made all the plays with the glove, short arm action from a lower slot with developing arm strength across the infield. Right-handed hitter, spread lower half, slight crouch, high hand set and a high back elbow. Upper half swing, line drive swing plane, balanced and patient approach, tracks ball well from pitcher's hand, gets to front side early, creates contact to the middle of the field. Very good student.
