Brody Heil is a 2017 LHP/OF, 1B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from LaGrange, KY who attends Trinity. Medium, young, slender frame and projects to continue adding strength. Ran a 7.25 60 yard dash. Pitches from a three-quarter arm slot and has a loose, fast arm. Pitches at 79-82 mph with his fastball and projects to add more. Has late movement on his fastball. Also mixes in a 1-7 curveball with good depth at 67 mph and commands it well. Mixes well. High upside on the mound. Moves well in the outfield and makes accurate throws. Also has a clean transfer and sound actions at first base. Bats left-handed, works from a wide base and has life in his bat. Takes an aggressive swing and hits to the middle of the field. Sprays to all fields and flashes bat speed. Good student. Named to Top Prospect list.
