Jeff McPeek is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Hazlet, NJ who attends St John Vianney. Large, athletic frame with a strong and mature build. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, charges well and works through the ball, gets body behind the ball to gain momentum in throws, quick release, short and compact arm action, throws from a lower slot, arm strength will continue to develop. Short arm action from a three-quarter slot on the mound, topped out at 76 mph, throws strikes and pitches to contact. Left-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Upper half swing, keeps hands in, stays balanced through swing, gets the barrel through the swing, smooth swing with some pop, line drive contact with a pull side approach. Very good student.
