Gonzalo Luevano is a 2017 RHP with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Denver, CO who attends Rangeview HS. Rotational delivery with a compact arm action, mid 3/4's release point, arm works pretty well coming through. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, throws lots of strikes with his fastball and gets early count swings, some run and sink on fastball. Drops down lower on curveball for big sweeping action, introduced a slider in his third inning with a short break. Right handed hitter, long loose swing with some strength and bat speed for his age, uppercut swing plane and gets the ball in the air, handles the barrel and makes consistent contact.
