Wyatt Tyson is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Red Lion, PA who attends Red Lion HS. Nice athletic build, has some present strength with plenty of room for more. Deliberate delivery with good hip coil, balance and drive to the plate, compact arm action with a clean high 3/4's path and release, solid overall mechanics. Fastball very consistent at 86-88 mph, worked down in the zone with good sinking life and moved the ball from side to side. Showed two different types of breaking ball shapes at the same velocity, one a 12/6 downer curveball, the other a more sweeping slurve type pitch with good depth, mixed them up effectively. Rare change up. Induced lots of weak early count contact and had a quick outing, was in control the entire time. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Campbell.
