Robert Malone is a 2016 SS/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Bellaire HS. Medium athletic build with a high waist and square shoulders. Outstanding runner, 6.52 in the sixty, shows a very compact and quick arm in the middle infield on defense, gets good carry and makes accurate throws, fields the ball out in front with soft hands, footwork at the ball can get a bit choppy at times but is athletic enough to work through it. Did not take batting practice or hit in games.
