Sean Oneill is a 2016 C with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Webster, NY who attends Webster-Schroeder HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength with more to come. Has athletic actions behind the plate, very consistent in his mechanics and footwork throwing, 2.02 in drills, 2.03 in between innings, 2.05 in the game to nail a runner, release is a bit long but is accurate and fluid, receives the ball well. Right handed hitter, spread stance, big barrel wrap to start his swing creates length and causes him to be late, inside swing path with a line drive plane, hits to all fields, would benefit from adjusting his pre-swing approach. High energy player who works hard at the game.
