Jordan Thompson is a 2015 3B/1B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Macksburg, IA who attends Orient-Macksburg HS. Big strong physical build, fairly mature physically. Right handed hitter, spread stance, late pull back load, arm bar start with a wrapped barrel, creates length in his swing, shows strength on contact and drove the ball in games, can make adjustments for more consistent hard contact, has hitting tools to develop. First base build and actions defensively. Also pitched, very cross body delivery, low 3/4's release slot. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, big sweeping curveball. Mixed his pitches and threw strikes. Good student.
