Jaxson Money is a 2016 1B/C, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Abilene, TX who attends Wylie. Large, athletic build with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball well out front, nice footwork off the base, shows an accurate arm with strength across the diamond. Moves well to the ball in the outfield, gets in a good position to make a throw, uses a crow hop to gain momentum and shows strength on throws from a full arm action. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base with a still approach. Short line drive path to the ball, generates lift in swing and shows strength when squared off the barrel. Compact swing and keeps hands in. Excellent student.
