Garrett Healey is a 2016 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Plano West Senior HS. Tall, slender build. Plenty of room to add strength, muscle mass. Right handed hitter, tall stance, still start, shows some looseness. Has short, quick swing, uses a middle of the infield approach and showed solid contact to right center field. Simple mechanics, able to repeat approach well. Shows solid feet in the infield, could charge a bit more aggressively and work through the ball. Works with compact arm action to high 3/4 arm slot, shows solid arm strength and accurate throws. Very good student.
