Jesse Gerdes is a 2017 C/3B, 1B with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Belle Mead, NJ who attends Montgomery HS. Medium frame and an athletic build with room to fill as he continues to get stronger. Behind the dish, stays low with good receiving skills. Showed an accurate arm with good carry and a quick release. Actions continue to get better. At the plate, right handed hitter that starts with a wide base and a high hand set. Hits off the front foot generating good torque. Hits the ball out in front with good pull side contact and some natural lift. Projectable power. Good student.
