Bryce Alabata is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 6-3 187 lb. frame from Bryan, OH who attends Bryan. Tall, strongly built, proportioned left-handed pitcher. Ran a 7.45 60 yard dash. Has a high leg kick and a shorter arm action. Releases from a high three-quarter arm slot and flashes good deception. Tops at 79 mph with his fastball and commands down in the zone. Flashes depth on 62 mph curveball but needs to stay on top. Shows 10-4 action. Throws a harder breaking ball with more lateral action. Knows how to change eye levels. Also swung the bat, works a balanced, crouched setup and looks to lift the ball. Flashes power and solid bat speed. Makes contact to the middle of the field. Good student.
