Brett Rodriguez is a 2016 2B/SS with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Churchill. Large, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, moves well on feet with nice lateral agility and range to both sides. Quick hands with strength and carry on throws, will continue to add strength onto throws. Right-handed batter, starts with a wide base and a high hand set. Upper body swing, shows a patient approach at the plate. Gets to front side early at times but shows nice bat speed with leverage in swing. Showed a good knowledge of the strike zone during in game at bats. Very good student.
