Anthony (Dallas) Vega is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 5-11 182 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Churchill. Large, athletic frame with nice present strength on his frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a low three-quarter arm slot with a quick and short arm action in the back. High leg raise with some drop and drive to delivery and stays online with lower half. Attacks hitters with a two-pitch mix and showed pitchability. Fastball topped at 82 mph and showed a late breaking 10-4 slider with tight rotation and ability to generate swings and misses with it. Hands play at third base, good arm strength across the diamond with carry on throws. Right handed hitter, starts with a upright stance, narrow base, and a high hand set. Quick bat, gets barrel through the zone well, creates line drive opposite field contact. More power to come with use of lower half.
