Wyatt Lavergne is a 2017 2B/SS, RHP, C, OF with a 5-5 108 lb. frame from De Kalb, TX who attends Avery. Young, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out with added strength. Primary middle infielder, moves well on feet and attacks the ball in the infield, young actions, arm strength will continue to develop across the diamond. Also pitched, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action in the back. Stays all on back side and gets closed at balance point, occasionally front side opens early. Fastball shows sinking action on the pitch. Right-handed batter, starts with a high hand set and a medium base. Pulls hands back at start of swing, gets the barrel through the zone and makes contact to all fields. Upper body swing, keeps hands in well and shows a compact path to the ball. Good student.
