Brice Rankin is a 2015 OF/2B with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Defiance, OH who attends Defiance. Younger, stocky build with a good motor. Ran a 7.90 60 yard dash. Bats left-handed, works from a balanced setup and uses a toe tap trigger. Hits the ball to all fields and shows good opposite field approach in game action. Stays inside the ball well and looks like a top of the order hitter. Shows a patient approach, stays within the zone. Shows loft on his throws from the outfield and makes accurate throws. Has a compact arm action on the infield as well. Hands work clean and works through the ball. Good student.
