Jace Newton is a 2016 LHP with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Tifton, GA who attends Tiftarea Academy. Small frame, lean build. Pitches from a low three quarters arm slot with a long arm action. Relies on movement to get hitters to pop up, developing strength. Hits from an open stance, line drive swing plane, pull approach hitting with a toe tap trigger. Good student.
