Russell Libby is a 2017 2B/SS with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends The Bolles HS. Medium, athletic build. Primary infielder, showed some versatility and performed well in outfield as well. Soft hands, compact arm-action with accurate throws and some arm strength. Developing footwork in both infield and outfield, can be tentative, does better when working quickly. Right handed hitter, late leg raise. Can get timing late, but when in rhythm he shows short, handsy swing. Displays ability to hit to all fields, solid feel for barrel. Showed good eye, solid approach in game action. Very good student.
