Leo Pollack is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Berkeley, CA who attends Berkeley HS. Medium frame, lean build with well defined limbs. Pitches from a very low three quarters arm slot bordering on sidearm. Hides the ball well for a low slot pitcher, drop and drive delivery, creates angle to plate and comes inside well to right handed hitters and locating on outside corner to lefties who have an especially difficult time picking the ball up with a release point coming from behind them. Sweeping tilted slider break with good velocity differential, fastball has big tailing action back to arm side. Used the whole field with a short compact swing at the plate. Excellent student.
