Jeffrey Kavulich is a 2017 C/3B with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends McKinney Boyd. Young, athletic build with broad shoulders, projectable build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.90 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, starts with a lower set up behind the plate, gets tall at release, quick feet, short arm action from a lower slot, shows a quick release with accuracy to the bag and arm strength that will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts with a crouch stance and a low hand set, uses a toe tap trigger for timing. Short, compact swing which he repeats well, line drive swing plane with a nice contact approach. Upper body swing with a one hand finish, creates contact to all fields. Very good student.
