Evan Muchnicki is a 2015 C with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from East Northport, NY who attends Elwood/John Glenn. Medium, athletic frame with a lean build and some room to fill out. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, moves well behind the plate and blocks well in the dirt, jumps out of crouch, gains ground with lower half, nice accuracy on throws to second base and will continue to develop arm strength. Right-handed hitter, starts with a low hand set and a wide base. Compact swing, gets the barrel through the zone and consistently to the ball. Small stride into contact, uses a middle of the field approach but shows ability to hit the ball well to all fields. Excellent student.
