Jordan Tassio is a 2008 MIF from Naperville North High School in Naperville, IL, with a 5'11'', 182 lb. frame. In the middle infield he has good hands and gets himself in position to make plays. Tassio has good sixty speed (7.18), and showed range in the infield. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with a no load, no stride approach. Tassio swings down on the ball looking to put it on the ground and use his speed to make things happen. However, he has strength in his swing and could hit the ball in the gaps with more regularity with a line drive swing plane. He has a short bat path to the ball, and the ball comes off his bat well at contact. Tassio stays balanced throughout his swing, and likes the ball low in the zone. He is a developing player with good speed and has upside to his game. He is an excellent student as well.
