Ryan Jordan is a 2006 1B/3B from Virginia High School in Abingdon, Virginia, with a compact 5'9'', 175 lb. frame. Defensively he has solid footwork at first base. Jordan stays in front of balls thrown in the dirt and picks the ball well with soft hands. At the plate he is a left handed hitter with a no stride approach. Jordan has busy hands pre-pitch, but quiets them as the pitch is thrown. He is a line drive hitter with solid bat speed. He stays balanced through his swing with leverage at contact. Jordan makes solid contact and stays inside the ball well.
