Ryan Durrance is a 6'1" 195 pound 2006 corner infielder from Jacksonville, Florida who attends Trinity Christian High School. He has a strong athletic body with room to add more muscle still. Ryan has soft hands defensively with plus arm strength which he showed during the workout by hitting 79 mph across the infield. He can play either corner position very well with nice actions at both positions. Durrance has very good bat speed at the plate. He has raw power to all fields and he showed it by crushing a ball to center field about 400 feet. He has a good swing and turns on the ball very well. He has projectable power with his level swing. Ryan should be a middle of the order hitter at the next level. He is also a very good student with a 3.5 gpa and a 20 on his ACT.
