James Gross is a 5'11" 150 pound 2006 second baseman and utility player from Boca Raton, Florida who attends Boca Raton High School. He has a lean build with good core strength. James has a level swing plane and gets good extension as well. He uses a high hand set with some busy hands. He has the potential to hit for power. Gross fields the ball with good soft hands and a solid glove. He has an easy arm action with decent arm strength which he showed by throwing 73 mph across the infield. He has good instincts and very good range. He hustles on every play. James is a good prospect with potential at the next level.
