Jordan Lucas is a 2007 SS/P/3B with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame from Port Charlotte, Florida who attends Venice HS. Jordan has a tall projectable build and showed great all-around athletic ability at the event. At the plate Jordan hits from a wide no-stride approach that has very good bat speed and power potential. He has good balance and leverage in his swing and you can see a lot of offensive upside in this player. His batting practice was one of the best at the showcase. In the field Jordan shows outstanding arm strength with good overall actions. He has a good release with nice balance and soft hands. Jordan is a player that should have a big college career and could attract the attention of some pro scouts this spring.
