Brett is a 2005 grad from Huntington Beach High School in Huntington Beach, California. He has a solid frame and build at 5'11" 195 pounds. He has a durable strong body. Brett shows good pure arm strength in the outfield and makes accurate throws. He has the body control to come in hard and handle the groundballs well. At the plate, Brett made consistent hard contact. He is short to the ball with a crisp, compact swing. We like the way that Brett stays controlled and within himself with the bat. He looks like a young hitter who can hit for a high average against good competition. Brett has a good balance of tools and has the kind of present strength and skills that college coaches like to see. He is a good student, too.
