Kevin Mulvihill is a 2007 C/3B with a 6'0'', 160 lb. frame from Brewster NY, who attends Brewster. Mulvihill has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively, Mulvihill sets up well behind the plate and has good hands. He has a nice release with good actions. He has developing arm strength with carry on his throws. At the plate, Mulvihill starts with a slightly open stance with a wide base. He starts with his hands low and and uses a short load to start his swing. Mulvihill has a quiet approach in the box and bars his front arm in his swing. He throws his hands to the baseball and is able to get the bat head to the ball. He stays balanced through his swing and is a contact type hitter. He has a level swing path and has bat speed. Mulvihill has present gap to gap pop with more power potential there. He is also a good student.
