Michael Chidboy is a 5'11" 145 pound 2008 outfielder from Park Vista High School in Lake Worth, Florida. He has a medium frame with a good athletic build. Michael has a strong arm which he showed by throwing 76 mph from the outfield during the workout. He has a very smooth release and outstanding carry on his throws. He seems to glide to the ball and always be in good position to field. Chidboy has good swing mechanics at the plate. His stance is quiet and he starts with low hands. He is balanced and has a good level swing plane through the ball. Michael centers the ball very well and gets good extension. He has very good bat speed and line drive power. One ball registered 91 mph off his bat. He seems to like the ball inside so he can pull it with authority. Michael is a good young hitter who is also a good student with a 3.3 gpa.
