Frank O'Gara is a 2009 C/3B with a 5'8'', 155 lb. frame from Gladstone, Missouri, who attends Winnetonka High School. O'Gara is a young (2009) player who has a medium frame. Defensively he leads with his chest and upper body on his throws to second base causing his arm to rush to catch up. His throws were 62 mph with a best 2.48 pop time. He did a good job blocking balls in the dirt and handled the pitchers well. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a straight away stance with a narrow base. He has a simple approach, but takes an aggressive stride and attacks the ball. O'Gara has a line drive swing plane and makes consistent contact to the middle of the field. He stays inside the ball well showing bat head control. He is a good student as well.
