Matthew Zajac is a 200 3B/1B from Seton Hall Prep, residing in Pine Brook, New Jersey, with a 6'2"/200 pound frame. Matthew has a solid frame. He hits from an open stance with a high back elbow. Zajac has solid bat speed and solid hands with power potential. His backside will collapse at times. Matthew has soft hands in the infield with solid footwork. He has a solid release and long arm action at 77 mph. He needs to be smoother defensively. Zajac pitches from a sidearm release point and repeats his delivery. He has a funky delivery which hides the ball well and could get outs. His fastball has sink and run at 77 mph. Matthew is an excellent student.
