Christopher Gomez is a 5'7" 175 pound 2008 third baseman and second baseman from Coral Reef High School in Miami, Florida. He has a good body with a thick lower half. Christopher has a long arm action and solid carry on his throws. He threw 71 mph across the infield but looked like he had more in him. He has very smooth actions and soft hands. Gomez has a quiet approach at the plate and keeps his weight back very well. He has a little lift in his swing and is short to the ball. He has a quick swing with good bat speed and makes consistent solid contact. He does like the ball in and drives the ball to left field with authority. Christopher is a young athletic prospect who will continue to improve as he matures.
