Adam Wood is a 6'3" 185 pound 2006 outfielder and right handed pitcher from Tequesta, Florida who attends Jupiter High School. He has a strong athletic build and a tall long frame. Adam has a lofted swing plane and stays inside the ball well. He showed good bat control and maked line drive contact. He used the entire field and handled the bat well. Wood has a solid glove and showed good range in the field. His throws were very accurate with a long easy arm action. He threw 78 mph from the outfield during the workout. On the mound, Wood threw his fastball at 77 mph with good late life and his curveball at 63 mph with good deception. Adam has a projectable body with solid tools. He has a good upside and is a very good student.
