Justin Gabriel is a 2007 2B/1B with a 6'1'', 205 lb. frame from Kenai AK, who attends Kenai Central HS. He has a good frame with developing strength. Gabriel lists himself as a primary infielder but lacks arm strength and will be limited to first base at a faster level of baseball. Offensively, Gabriel takes an aggressive line drive swing at the ball and makes consistent contact to the middle of the field. Gabriel played hard and improved significantly during the course of the Sunshine East and Academic Showcases. He's from Alaska and his game speed is a bit behind right now. Gabriel is an excellent student.
