Zack North is a 2007 RHP/1B/3B with a 6'3'', 155 lb. frame from Miami FL, who attends Westminster Christian HS. He has a tall, lanky body with very long arms and legs and not much present strength. North throws from a low 3/4's release point that gives him plenty of natural sinking action on a 76-78 mph fastball. Unlike many pitcher's who throw from that release point, North got tight spin and break on a 70 mph slider. He also threw a 68 mph change up with good movement. North could get better extension out front on his release but otherwise has good mechanics for his pitching style and right handed hitters probably aren't comfortable against him at the HS level. North is also an outstanding student.
