Kayvon Bahramzadeh is a 2008 RHP/1B with a 6'2'', 185 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ, who attends Catalina Foothills HS. Bahramzadeh has present strength in his body and there is more to come that will not negatively affect his baseball abilities. On the mound the throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a high leg kick. He has a quick arm that works very well. He stays balanced over the rubber with solid mechanics. Bahramzadeh has a fastball that tops out at 86 mph with good cutting action. With his body type and arm speed it is easy to project more velocity. He also mixes in a 79 mph breaking ball, and he throws strikes with both pitches. At the plate he shows good upside as well. He has bat speed through the zone with a balanced swing. He gets good leverage at the point and he has strength in his swing. Bahramzadeh shows projectable power, and is a solid two-way prospect. He is a good student as well.
