Kevin Nay is a 2008 OF/P/3B with a 6'1'', 190 lb. frame from Gunnison, Utah, who attends Gunnison High School. Nay has a tall and good frame. Defensively he moves well in the outfield getting to balls down the line and in the gaps. He has arm speed and solid arm strength at 79 mph. His throws are accurate and online. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a crouched stance with a knee lift trigger. He is an aggressive hitter who attacks pitches. Nay keeps his hands inside the ball and has the ability to hit the ball to all fields. At times he dives into pitches, but he gets leverage at the point of contact with projectable power. He has bat speed as well. Once on the bases, he runs well. Nay is a good student as well.
