Taylor Motter is a 2008 MIF/3B with a 6', 165 lb frame from Palm Beach Gardens, FL who attends Palm Beach Gardens HS. Taylor has a lean athletic build and just needs to add a little strength to his frame. He has the tools to be a quality infielder at a high-level college program. At the plate Taylor has good swing fundamentals where he stays short to the ball with solid bat speed. He has a line-drive approach at the plate and centers the ball well. Once Taylor gets a little stronger, everything is there for him to be an impact hitter. In the infield Taylor has a very good tool set with a quick release and a strong arm. He covers a lot of ground and could project at any infield position. Taylor has very solid footwork with good hands and just has a great understanding of how to play the game. Taylor is a solid student that should become a highest-level college prospect.
