Matthew Conway is a 2009 LHP/1B with a 6'7'', 230 lb. frame from Birmingham, MI who attends Brother Rice HS. Extra large and long frame. Athletic actions, long/strong swing, good load and balance, lift in swing, keeping short will be key. Good defensive 1B, moves well, big target. Also pitched, southpaw, over the top release, FB 81 mph, very good sinking change, plus command, finesse pitcher. Upside. Very good student. He was named to the top prospect team at this event.
