Adrian Gomez is a 5'10" 130 pound 2006 second baseman and utility player from Wellington, Florida who has a wiry lean build. He has a quick short arm with good accuracy on his throws. He showed decent arm strength by throwing 78 mph from the outfield and 73 mph from the infield during the workout. Adrian shows good range with very active feet and soft hands. At the plate, he has a line drive swing plane with good loft and extension. Gomez turns on the ball well and has good power to his pull side. He does spray the ball to all fields as well. Adrian is a solid prospect with good potential at the next level.
