Lance Worley is a 2008 2B/SS/3B with a 5'8'', 145 lb. frame from Roswell, GA, who attends Centennial HS. Worley has a lean frame with projectability. He ran a solid sixty time, but showed much better game speed both on the bases and in the field. Defensively he has solid actions on the infield with good body control. Worley has solid arm strength and is very accurate with his throws. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from a straight away stance, but is well off the plate. Worley is a line drive contact hitter with solid bat speed. He has the ability to stay inside the ball and can hit to all fields. Shows great patience at the plate with good strike zone awareness. Once he is on the bases, Worley has the ability to take the extra base and runs very well from first to third. He is a hustle type player that works hard and appears to really enjoy the game. Good upside on the field, and he is an excellent student as well.
