Drew Tajblik is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Genoa, OH who attends Lake. Recorded a 7.35 second sixty yard dash time. Primary shortstop with great feel for the glove and twitchy actions. Fields it cleanly and keeps his feet moving throughout, carries a lot of momentum into the throws. Very quick feet and hands, has sound defensive actions for his age with great projection moving forward. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works exclusively out of the stretch with a online stride. Comes from a high three-quarters slot, fastball showed tail and sinking action when down in the zone. Flashed a deep 11-5 shaped breaker with some bite, also featured a changeup with slight fading action. Right-handed hitter with an even base and a high hand and back elbow set. Utilizes an abbreviated leg lift trigger and transfer his weight well. Has present feel for the barrel with line drive swing plane. Speeds himself up at times, showed a middle of the field approach and produced a solid round of BP. Excellent student.
