Austin Miller is a 2024 SS/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Firestone, CO who attends Mead. Average size athletic frame. Ran a 7.05 60-yard dash. An infielder a patient approach and footwork directly to the baseball, quicker first step when moving laterally, clean glove actions and an above average throwing arm. Ability to make all the plays in the field. Hit from a wide base with load stride timing at the plate. Has some natural strength and plenty of hand speed in the swing. Still getting the swing in sync with backside rotation, and still showed the ability to get to the barrel with a linear bat path through the zone and extension through the baseball. Showed the approach and plate coverage to use the whole field. Named to Rocky Mountain Workout Top Prospect List. Outstanding student.
